Impressionistic Landscapes with Nancy Ryan (Reno)

Back by popular demand, Nancy will again be offering a ( 3) Day Workshop, March 29, 30 31.  Students will create an original, one of a kind, piece of textile art.  Shapes and images in my landscapes are created using a technique of cutting and slicing fabric to create a palette.  Layering colorful bits of fabric on batting, adding covering tulle and then machine quilting the entire piece gives an impressionistic style, interest and depth.  It is a technique that every skill level can accomplish and be successful.  Helpful if you have some experience doing free motion quilting but not required.
