This class is a unique, easy, and striking way to lay down and stitch fabric strips in the shape of an "iris". Your skills with a rotary cutter and strip cutting is all you need for this paper-crafting technique that has been modified by Cory for fabric. Your 8-inch completed block can be used for a variety of quilting projects, from table toppers, wall hangings, and placemats, to table runners and larger quilts where this is one of many other blocks. Once you've done one, you will be hooked to do more and find more creative fabrics to make your "iris" blocks.
